Alright one last serious/depressing post lol. I think everbody knows Obama got through his health care bill...but i dont think everyone knows its not exactly what he promised earlier in his presidency or his campaign, or what this bill contains. Firstly there is no public option (would help keep insurance companies from charging ridiculously high prices), secondly the bill forces ppl to buy health insurance from private corporation (not exactly fighting the insurance companies-they're getting 32 million new customers), thirdly in a compromise with republicans, the gov. waived its right to regulate the insurance companies. I have bad feeling about this.......
anyway heres something so we can wrap our heads around whats going on

I don't support Obama or the Democrat party but this tea party/glenn beck shit has to stop....the racism, paranoia and economic conservatism in their movement is bad for the country. What's disturbing is that with outlets like Fox News, they are actually influencing millions of ppl. We better get organized because they definitely are...

The Color of the Recession
Havent posted in a while so I'll try to make it up with quality lol. Alot of things happening in America...mainly the amazing rate that people are becoming impoverished by this recession. On top of this our country is showing that its not exactly "post-racial", African-Americans are being unprortianately being devasted by the economic downturn. By the middle of 2010 its projected that unemployment for African Americans will be 17% and 50% of black children will grow up in poverty....disturbing news

I couldn't be honest if I didn't say that i do have an agenda, to make ppl think...above all else this is about making a new culture, making something different then what is all around us. Our culture now (to me) is to accpet, obey, not care, and go through the motions. The culture that we're trying to build is to think, analyze, criticize, act. This is the alternative.

Welcome PPL!!!!
Finally..........shit is up!!
2 many ppl, 2 may artist, 2 many inceidents, hay, 2 much is being slept on period, so..... me and the bro Isaiah (who u will hear from l8ter) basically made this in hopes 2 bring what we feel is important out 2 yall (as is the purpose of any blog lol), We hope 2 promote everything real, inspire and hopefully bring out the talent hiding dormant in us all. Expect 2 hear some familiar and unfamiliar artist being dropped on the regular. But we don't just cater 2 jus 1 particular spectrum of this shit!! We'll also go in 2 detail on art exhibitions, what we deem fashionable lol, political events of concern and many other topics in the near future. I'de be a hypocrite if i didn't tell you i make music myself lol, so expect tracks from me as well.
